Tim Seibles is the author of two chapbooks and three full-length collections of poetry, most recently Hammerlock (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, ). Gifted with a broad-ranging sense of subject matter and style, his poems cover terrain as diverse as basketball, American race relations, dogs, and the inner thoughts of cartoon characters. Tim Seibles is the author of six collections of poetry, including Body Moves (), Hurdy-Gurdy (), Hammerlock (), Buffalo Head Solos (), and Fast Animal (), which won the Theodore Roethke Memorial Poetry Prize, received the PEN Oakland Josephine Miles Award, and was nominated for a National Book Award. Tim Seibles (born ) is an American poet, professor and the former Poet Laureate of Virginia. He is the author of five collections of poetry, most recently, Fast Animal (Etruscan Press, ). His honors include an Open Voice Award and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center. In he was nominated for a National Book Award, for Fast.
